College and Career Readiness in the New York State Public Schools (2014)

This paper, which served as a foundation for developing a college readiness program for Yonkers Partners in Education (YPIE), addressed three questions:

1. What impact does college readiness have on the successful completion of two or four year college degrees?

2. How do you measure college and career readiness?

3. Can we identify macro variables that have a significant correlation with college readiness, and how can we use those variables and the data to inform our actions?
